Overview

The Stage 3 Calibrator's package is M-Engineering's intercooler-and-intake build for the 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S. It bundles M-Tuner with both ECU and PDK tuning, an IPD plenum, the IPD high-flow plenum Y-pipe, a twin CSF intercooler set and Do88 turbo inlet hoses.

Stage 3 cars, meaning cars with upgraded intercoolers, run M-Engineering's Stage 2 calibrations. Stage 2 is written for a car with stock or aftermarket headers, an aftermarket high-flow exhaust, stock or drop-in air filters and the stock fuel system, and M-Engineering says it is generally about 20 to 40 whp more than Stage 1.

Flashing is done at home over OBD with the wireless M-Tuner v3 dongle: maps for 91, 93 and 100 octane with On-The-Fly Live Map Switching, plus a map built for your PDK transmission. You can return to stock at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
OBD. The 991.2 Turbo ECU is flashed at home through the OBD-II port with the M-Tuner dongle in the package, so it is never mailed in, and the PDK calibration loads the same way. The hardware is a normal bolt-on install.

How much power does the package make?
M-Engineering does not publish a fixed figure for this package. It publishes wheel dyno charts in its calibration notes and states that Stage 2 is generally about 20 to 40 whp more than Stage 1; results depend on the car, fuel and hardware.

Which calibration does a Stage 3 car run?
M-Engineering states that Stage 3 cars with upgraded intercoolers use the Stage 2 calibrations, so an aftermarket high-flow exhaust should be fitted as well.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
