M-Engineering Stage 3 Cooling Package Porsche 992.2 Carrera / T 2025-2026

The Stage 3 Cooling Package pairs M-Engineering's M-Flash calibration for the 992.2 Carrera and Carrera T with a CSF intercooler system. M-Engineering defines Stage 3 as an upgraded intercooler and an upgraded exhaust running alongside your Stage 1 or Stage 2 ECU tune; the intercooler is in the box, and the exhaust is purchased separately.

The ECU is mailed to M-Engineering's Pompano Beach, Florida facility to be unlocked and flashed, because the 992.2 ECU's security protocols are labor intensive to get around. Expected turnaround for this package is 1 to 2 business days, and the ECU returns with the tune installed and Live Map Switching active. M-Tuner and dongle flashing support is due in a later release.

Live Map Switching is standard on Stage 1 and Stage 2, with slots for ACN91, 91 octane or 95 RON, 93 octane or 98 RON and 100 octane, plus a Detonation Defense engine safety slot. The included M-Tuner V1 dongle clears faults and records datalogs. M-Engineering publishes wheel dyno charts from its Mainline ProHub dynamometer rather than a headline figure.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
Bench. The ECU is mailed to M-Engineering in Pompano Beach, Florida, unlocked, flashed and returned within 1 to 2 business days. Dongle flashing over OBD will be released at a later date. The CSF intercooler is installed on the car as normal hardware.

How much power will I gain?
M-Engineering does not publish a single figure for this package. It shows wheel dyno charts from its Mainline ProHub dynamometer by fuel, and the result depends on your stage, fuel and exhaust.

Can the ECU go back to stock?
It can be flashed back to Stage 0 only. The ECU remains unlocked for tuning and is still visible to anyone looking. If a dealer overwrites the tune, it must be unlocked again at 50% of the original price, and M-Engineering confirms the tune voids the warranty.
