Overview

The M-Engineering Stage 3 Power Package is the big-turbo kit for the 3.8-liter M838T. It pairs Pure Turbos PT900 turbochargers with a set of eight ID1050X injectors, an M-Engineering injector harness and M-Tuner with the M838T Motorsport Tuning Package already included.

M-Engineering reports this setup has made in excess of 850 wheel horsepower on 104 octane fuel, with 60-130 mph runs in the low 4-second range. It is built for higher-octane fuel: M-Engineering does not recommend it for cars that will only ever see 91 or 93 octane pump gas. Custom tuning is required to finish the setup.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
It starts on the bench and then moves to OBD. The M838T ECU is removed once and mailed to M-Engineering HQ for a one-time unlock. Once it is back in the car, you load maps, switch stages and update calibrations yourself through the OBD-II port with the wireless M-Tuner v3 dongle and a Windows 10 or 11 PC.

How much power does Stage 3 make?
M-Engineering reports in excess of 850 wheel horsepower on 104 octane, with 60-130 mph times in the low 4-second range. Results on your car depend on fuel, supporting parts and the custom tune.

Can I run it on pump gas?
M-Engineering does not recommend this package for cars limited to 91 or 93 octane pump gas. It is meant for higher-octane fuel.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
