Overview

The Stage 3 Power Package is M-Engineering's cooling-and-shifting upgrade for the 992.1 Carrera, Carrera S and Carrera GTS. It combines the M-Tuner Suite with a CSF intercooler system and M-Engineering's PDK2 calibration, which gives quicker shifting and higher clutch clamping force.

M-Engineering's Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps are designed to work well with this package and take advantage of the extra cooling. The ECU is flashed at home over OBD with M-Tuner, with no ECU mail-in on the 9X2 platform. The PDK2 module, however, has to be removed and sent to M-Engineering for its calibration.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
Mostly OBD. On the 9X2 platform the ECU is flashed at home through the OBD-II port with M-Tuner, so it is never mailed in. The PDK2 calibration is the exception: the PDK2 module has to be removed and sent to M-Engineering for flashing.

How much power does Stage 3 add?
M-Engineering has not published a separate figure for this package. Its Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps are designed to use the extra cooling, and a ProTune is recommended for maximum power.

What does the PDK2 calibration change?
M-Engineering includes it for an improved shifting experience and better clutch clamping forces, so the transmission keeps up with the tuned engine.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
