Overview

The Stage 4 M-Tuner package for the 991.2 GT2 RS is built around the PTME1000, a true 100% bolt-on turbocharger with a 58x76mm compressor and a 60x55mm turbine. M-Engineering states that 800whp on race gas is possible with these turbos, about 1,000 crank horsepower.

The package includes the PTME1000 turbochargers, M-Tuner for the 991.2 GT2 RS and Clubsport, PDK tuning for the 991.2, 4BAR MAP sensors, CSF intercoolers and an IPD plenum and Y-pipe. PDK tuning is required to run the higher power levels that come with big turbos, and a ProTuning purchase is required as well.

Choose how to handle the turbo cores: send your stock cores in first, or pay a core fee that is refunded once the cores are sent. Cores generally take 3 to 5 business days to process. Methanol injection is highly recommended and produces even better results, a high-flowing exhaust is highly recommended, and factory spark plugs should be gapped down to .022.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bench flash or an OBD flash?
OBD. The 991.2 GT2 RS ECU is flashed at home through the OBD-II port with the M-Tuner dongle in the package, so it is never mailed in, and the PDK calibration loads the same way. The hardware is a normal bolt-on install. Your stock turbo cores do need to be sent in, which generally takes 3 to 5 business days.

How much power can it make?
M-Engineering states that 800whp on race gas is possible with the PTME1000 turbos, which it equates to about 1,000 crank horsepower. Results depend on fuel, methanol and the ProTune.

How does the core option work?
Pick the lower price if you will send your stock turbo cores in first. If you would rather pay a core fee up front, M-Engineering refunds it after your cores are sent.

Fitment notes

For the 991.2 GT2 RS. M-Engineering also lists the GT2 RS Clubsport, but the included CSF intercoolers do not fit it, and the turbos fit the 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S only with custom hot-side and cold-side plumbing. US model years are listed below.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
