PURE Turbos NEW PURE800 Turbo Upgrade 2016-2021 BMW B58 Gen 1

The NEW PURE800 gives the first-generation B58 a big step in airflow without sending in your factory turbo. It is a complete new turbocharger that supports more than 700 wheel horsepower with ethanol, supporting mods and a custom tune, and the PURE silicone inlet kit is included so the inlet side keeps up with the larger compressor.

What PURE changes inside

This is a complete new turbocharger, not a rebuild of your old one. PURE builds it on a new aftermarket housing made to the OEM design for the B58 Gen 1, so it uses the factory mounting points and connections. Inside are a billet compressor wheel, a high-flow turbine wheel and an upgraded center housing rotating assembly (CHRA), and each unit is balanced on a VSR high-speed balancer before it ships.

No core charge

This is the new-housing version, so the price shown is the full price. There is no core deposit and nothing to send back, and you keep your factory turbo as a spare.

Warranty and use

PURE backs its turbo upgrades with a limited 1-year, unlimited-mile warranty. A custom ECU tune is required, and the warranty assumes a qualified tuner and installer. This part is for off-road and competition use only and is not legal for street use in California or other states with similar emissions rules.

Tuning note from PURE: Bend Calibration tunes are not approved for this turbo. Call us and we can point you to a calibrator PURE works with.

For the first-generation B58 only. It does not fit the B58 Gen 2 in the 2020 and later G-chassis cars, which has its own PURE pages. US model years are listed: the M140i was never sold in the US, and the 440i and M240i arrived for 2017. The 740i listed is the US long-wheelbase G12.
