PURE Turbos PURE550 Turbo Upgrade 2019-2022 Hyundai Veloster N 2.0T

The Veloster N's 2.0T Theta II is a willing engine, but the factory turbo is sized for response, not top-end power. The PURE550 rebuilds that turbo around larger, more efficient wheels while keeping the OEM housing, so it bolts in like stock and supports more than 450 wheel horsepower with fuel, supporting mods and a custom tune. It fits both the 6-speed manual and the 8-speed N-DCT cars.

What PURE changes inside

PURE fits a billet compressor wheel and a high-flow turbine wheel sized for the Veloster N 2.0T, then upgrades the center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) to handle the higher shaft speed and boost. Every unit is balanced on a VSR high-speed balancer before it ships. The factory compressor and turbine housings are kept, so the turbo mounts in the factory location and works with the factory plumbing and heat shielding, with no cutting or fabrication.

How the core charge works

PURE builds this upgrade from a factory turbocharger core, so you choose how to supply one when you order:

• Send in your turbo first (no deposit): you ship your factory turbo to PURE, it is rebuilt to this spec and shipped back. You pay only the upgrade price.
• Pay a refundable core deposit: PURE ships a finished upgrade from stock right away. The deposit shown in the option name is added to the price, and it is refunded in full when PURE receives your old turbo in rebuildable condition within 60 days of delivery.

Before you ship a core, remove the oil lines, coolant lines, actuators and inlets. Cores that arrive damaged or incomplete may not get the full refund, so call us before you send one if you are unsure.

Warranty and use

PURE backs its turbo upgrades with a limited 1-year, unlimited-mile warranty. A custom ECU tune is required, and the warranty assumes a qualified tuner and installer. This part is for off-road and competition use only and is not legal for street use in California or other states with similar emissions rules.
