PURE Turbos Stage 2 Turbo Upgrade 2016-2024 Infiniti Q50 Q60 VR30

The 3.0L VR30DDTT in the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 responds well to tuning, but the small factory turbos run out of breath long before the rest of the engine does. The PURE Turbos Stage 2 upgrade rebuilds both factory turbochargers around larger, more efficient wheels while keeping the stock housings. That means it bolts in the factory location, keeps the factory plumbing, and supports more than 600 wheel horsepower with the right fuel and tune.

What PURE changes inside

Each turbo gets a billet compressor wheel and a high-flow turbine wheel sized for the VR30. The center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) is upgraded to handle the extra speed and boost, then balanced on a VSR high-speed balancer before it leaves the PURE shop in Oceanside, California. The OEM compressor and turbine housings are kept, so fitment, heat shielding and sound stay close to stock. US dealer dyno testing on E30 fuel recorded about 574 whp at 21 psi.

How the core charge works

PURE builds this upgrade from a factory turbocharger core, so you choose how to supply one when you order:

• Send in your turbos first (no deposit): you ship your factory turbos to PURE, they are rebuilt to this spec and shipped back. You pay only the upgrade price.
• Pay a refundable core deposit: PURE ships a finished upgrade from stock right away. The deposit shown in the option name is added to the price, and it is refunded in full when PURE receives your old turbos in rebuildable condition within 60 days of delivery.

Before you ship a core, remove the oil lines, coolant lines, actuators and inlets. Cores that arrive damaged or incomplete may not get the full refund, so call us before you send one if you are unsure.

For this page the deposit depends on your trim, because the Red Sport 400 turbos cost more to replace: pick the Red Sport deposit or the Luxe, Pure and Sport deposit to match your car.

Warranty and use

PURE backs its turbo upgrades with a limited 1-year, unlimited-mile warranty. A custom ECU tune is required, and the warranty assumes a qualified tuner and installer. This part is for off-road and competition use only and is not legal for street use in California or other states with similar emissions rules.

Fitment notes

Fits every VR30 trim: Luxe, Pure, Sport and Red Sport 400. It does not fit the 2.0t Q50 or Q60 or the 3.7L Q50 hybrid. The Q60 ended production after the 2022 model year, so later years are not listed.
