Overview

The Remus F90 M5 Non-Resonated Front Section Pipe (part 089317 0000) is a connection tube made for the BMW M5 (F90). It fits the 2018-2021 model years sold in the US. Remus has built exhausts in Austria since 1990 and develops each system for a specific vehicle, so the fit is direct and no cutting or welding is needed.

What It Does

This pipe links the factory exhaust to the Remus silencer section, and the right connecting pipe is needed for the system to fit and sound as Remus intends. Remus lists pipe diameters of 80, 84 mm for this part.

Sound and Character

The connecting pipe you choose affects the final sound: Remus offers resonated and non-resonated versions for many vehicles, so you can pick a calmer or a louder character.

Vehicle Coverage

Remus lists this part for the 2018-2021 BMW M5 (chassis F90) with the 4.4L Twin-Turbo V8 engine. Model years follow the US market, not the European production dates Remus publishes.

Materials and Construction

Remus makes its exhaust parts from high-grade materials and checks each part for fit and finish. Remus sells this version without EC type approval, the European road approval. A 24-month Remus warranty covers the part.

Features

Non-resonated cat-back front section, can only be installed in combination with the Remus axle-back sport exhaust system
Original tube Ø 80 mm - Remus tube Ø 84 mm
No EC type approval

What Is Included

1 x Remus Cat back front section (089317 0000)

Installation

The part fits at the original mounting points with the hardware Remus specifies, so the installation is a bolt-on job rather than a fabrication project.
