Overview

The Remus FK8 Civic Type R Front Section Pipe (part 256017 1200) is a connection tube made for the Honda Civic Type R (FK8). It fits the 2017-2021 model years sold in the US. It is a direct-fit choice for anyone looking for an fk8 front section pipe. Remus is an Austrian exhaust maker that designs every part for a specific vehicle, which keeps the installation straightforward and the fit precise.

What It Does

This pipe links the factory exhaust to the Remus silencer section, and the right connecting pipe is needed for the system to fit and sound as Remus intends. Remus lists pipe diameters of 60, 76 mm for this part.

Sound and Character

Because the pipe sits between the factory exhaust and the Remus silencers, it plays a part in both the fit and the final sound of the system.

Vehicle Coverage

In the US market it fits the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (chassis FK8) with the 2.0L Turbo I4 engine. All years shown are US model years.

Materials and Construction

Remus makes its exhaust parts from high-grade materials and checks each part for fit and finish. Remus sells this version without EC type approval, the European road approval. Remus covers the part with a 24-month warranty.
