SilverRocket Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate Support Reinforcement

Applications:

Porsche 718 (all models)
Porsche 981 (all models)

Eliminate Metal Dents With High-Downforce AOA Or Large Wings

When we run our Porsche 718 GT4 RS with high downforce Angle-Of-Attack (AOA) settings on high-speed tracks, or when using high-downforce motorsport wings, the potential for metal dents in the sheet metal supporting the tailgate increases.

For instance, the SilverRocket DRS-1 wing can generate over 550 lbs. of downforce at 200 mph. This substantial downforce is directed through the wing supports into the car's body at two points beneath the tailgate. There is a risk that high downforce could cause dents in the metal at these support points.

SilverRocket Dry Carbon Fiber Wing Support Plates Highlights

Benefit: Eliminates the risk of metal dents with high-downforce AOA settings and/or bigger rear wings
Materials: Crafted from 100% aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber, twice the strength of steel
Installation: Pre-fitted with 3M VHB tape for quick and easy installation in just 30 seconds
