The 5N (1st Gen) Volkswagen Tiguan filters pedal input to keep the drive smooth, which can make it feel slow to react. This controller shortens that delay, so a small movement of your foot produces the throttle opening you expected. SUV drivers notice it most when the vehicle is loaded, as less pedal is needed to get moving from a stop.

On the Volkswagen Tiguan / Taos, the change is felt mostly in the first part of pedal travel. At full throttle the 2.0L turbo I4 or 1.5L turbo I4 delivers its normal power, so the controller improves response rather than adding peak output.

How it installs in the Tiguan

Unplug the connector at the top of the Volkswagen Tiguan accelerator pedal, plug the Sprint Booster harness in between, and mount the selector where you can reach it. Most Volkswagen Tiguan / Taos installs take around 15 minutes.
