The Urban Automotive bullnose hood is the part that gives Urban's G63 builds their raised, sculpted front. It is a full carbon fiber overlay with two vents that bonds onto the factory hood, adding a pronounced center bulge that runs down to the grille.

Note that this is not a complete replacement hood. Urban makes it as an overlay that is stuck onto the original Mercedes hood, so the factory hinges, latch and safety structure stay in place. It is designed and made in Milton Keynes, England, for the 2019-on W463A G63, and it comes with an Urban crest hood badge.

Installation

Urban's guide opens the hood and pries the Mercedes badge off its pins, as it is no longer used. The factory hood is sanded where the overlay will sit (unless the overlay arrives pre-taped and prepared), cleaned, and the overlay is bonded on and held while it cures, with 12 hours allowed for the adhesive. The vents and the Urban crest badge are then fitted. Have a body shop do this, since the overlay is a large visible panel.

Fitment Notes

Urban lists this part for the 2019-on Mercedes-AMG G63 of the W463A generation, US model years 2019-2024. It is not listed for the G550 or for the 2025-on W465 G-Class, which has its own Urban parts, and it does not fit the earlier W463 G63.
