Urban Automotive's front skid plate trim covers the factory skid pan at the bottom of the G63's front bumper. The full carbon fiber piece replaces the plain finish of the original part with exposed carbon and links the front bumper visually to Urban's other G63 carbon parts.

Urban lists it as its front skid pan carbon trim for the 2019-on W463A G63 and makes it in-house in Milton Keynes, England. It is a small, affordable way to add Urban carbon to the front of the truck, and it works well with the Urban intake trims.

Specifications

Installation

Urban recommends professional installation. The trim is test-fitted over the factory skid pan to check that it sits evenly with no gaps. The factory surface is then lightly sanded where it will be covered, cleaned of dust and grease, and the trim is bonded in place and held with tape while the adhesive cures. Urban's overlay parts use a 12-hour bond time, so leave the car parked overnight.

Urban lists this part for the 2019-on Mercedes-AMG G63 of the W463A generation, US model years 2019-2024. It is not listed for the G550 or for the 2025-on W465 G-Class, which has its own Urban parts, and it does not fit the earlier W463 G63.
