The Urban Automotive roof light bar, listed by Urban as its high power light bar, runs across the front edge of the G63's roof above the windshield. Its full carbon fiber housing carries the lamps in one clean unit, giving the front of the G-Wagon the light-bar look Urban fits to its own builds.

The bar arrives pre-built with its lights installed and comes with a wiring kit and bonding adhesive. Urban designs and makes it in Milton Keynes, England, for the 2019-on W463A G63.

Installation

This is a professional install. Urban's guide has the roof cleaned, the cable entry point sealed with the supplied sealer so no water can get in, and the bar bonded in place, with 12 hours allowed for the bond. Inside, the sunroof is opened and the roof lining is eased down so the loom can be run to its power connection, which involves drilling small holes for the wiring. Both light pods are tested before the trim goes back.

Fitment Notes

Urban lists this part for the 2019-on Mercedes-AMG G63 of the W463A generation, US model years 2019-2024. It is not listed for the G550 or for the 2025-on W465 G-Class, which has its own Urban parts, and it does not fit the earlier W463 G63. The lamps are auxiliary lights; check your state's rules before using them on public roads.
