Urban Automotive's side sill extensions run along the bottom of the RS Q8's doors and wings and drop the visual line of the car closer to the ground. They are the part that ties the front splitter and rear canards of the Urban kit together when the car is seen from the side.

In Urban's RS Q8 program the sill extensions are made as separate sections for the lower doors and wings, six in total, so each one follows its own panel and the doors still open normally. They are produced in visual carbon fiber with a satin weave in Urban's own workshop in Milton Keynes, England.

Installation

Urban's guide has the lower door sections cleaned of dirt and grease, and the top edge of each extension sanded and cleaned. A bead of adhesive goes along that edge, each extension is pressed into place and taped while it cures, and Urban allows 12 hours for the bond. Before the adhesive sets, every door is opened to make sure no extension catches; any that do are slid along until they clear. The tablet badge is fitted last.

Fitment Notes

Fits the pre-facelift Audi RS Q8 (4M), US model years 2020-2024. It does not fit the 2025-on facelifted RS Q8, which has a different front and rear end and its own Urban aero kit, and it is not listed by Urban for the SQ8 or standard Q8.
