Urban Automotive's roof light bar adds auxiliary lighting and a signature Urban look to the 2025-on Mercedes-Benz G-Class W465. Its visual carbon fiber housing runs across the front of the roof and integrates 12 linear lights in a shape designed around the G-Wagon roofline.

Urban designs its W465 G-Class parts in-house and hand-builds them in the UK at its Milton Keynes headquarters, as part of the same program as its W465 Aero Kit and Widetrack builds. Professional installation and electrical connection are required.

Installation

Urban's W465 light bar guide opens the sunroof and eases the roof lining down to release the overhead switch console, protecting the interior from drilling debris. A 10mm hole is drilled from the inside out at the marked center point of the roof, the twin-core wiring is fed through and sealed, and the bar is fitted and connected. Test the lights before refitting the console and lining.

Fitment Notes

Urban lists this part for the 2025-on W465 G-Class. It does not fit the 2019-2024 W463A or earlier W463 G-Class, which use different Urban parts, and it is not listed for the electric G 580. The lamps are auxiliary lights; check your state's rules before using them on public roads.
