The Urban Automotive UA Icon cover replaces the painted cover on the rear-mounted spare wheel of the 2025-on Mercedes-Benz G-Class W465. Its visual carbon fiber face and prominent UA Icon design give the back of the G-Wagon a distinctive finishing detail.

Urban designs its W465 G-Class parts in-house and hand-builds them in the UK at its Milton Keynes headquarters, as part of the same program as its W465 Aero Kit and Widetrack builds. The cover works with the Urban upper rear spoiler for a coordinated rear end.

Installation

Urban's W465 UA spare wheel cover guide releases the outer surround, slides the painted cover off its shaft and drills out six spot welds with an 8mm spot weld drill to separate the sleeve, keeping the rubber edging. The sleeve is flattened, degreased and bonded to the Urban cover's riser, and the cover is refitted with the original edging. Because it involves drilling spot welds, this is a professional job.

Fitment Notes

Urban lists this part for the 2025-on W465 G-Class. It does not fit the 2019-2024 W463A or earlier W463 G-Class, which use different Urban parts, and it is not listed for the electric G 580.
