Valvetronic Designs Valved Cat-Back Exhaust for the 2020-2027 Audi RS Q8

The Audi RS Q8 pairs a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with full-size SUV practicality, but the factory exhaust keeps that V8 quieter than many owners want. The Valvetronic Designs valved cat-back exhaust gives the RS Q8 a real voice without giving up a calm commute. It is built from T304 stainless steel with 3-inch tubing that runs from the downpipes back to the OEM exhaust tips, and the cat-back is finished in Valvetronic's anodized gold.

Electronic valves give the system two personalities. With the valves closed, sound stays close to stock for highway cruising and early mornings. With the valves open, the silencer is fully bypassed for maximum volume and V8 character. A standalone electronic valve controller runs the valves, so the system works independently of the factory exhaust flaps.

Valvetronic offers this system on its own or packaged with front pipes. The Free Flow option adds catless front pipes for the most volume and the least restriction. The 400 Cell option adds high-flow catted downpipes, which keep catalytic converters in place while flowing far better than the factory units.

With the 400 Cell Catted Downpipes option, the package also includes 400 cell EPA compliant catted downpipes in brushed T304 stainless. With the Free Flow option, it also includes the free flow catless front pipes.

Choosing a Configuration

• Cat-Back System Only (AUD.RSQ8.VSES.AG): the valved cat-back and controller. It bolts on behind the factory downpipes and keeps the OEM catalytic converters.
• Free Flow Catless Front Pipes (AUD.RSQ8.VSES.FF.AG): the cat-back plus straight front pipes with no catalytic converters. Catless parts are for off-road and competition use only and are not legal on public roads in the US.
• 400 Cell Catted Downpipes (AUD.RSQ8.VSES.FF.400C.AG): the cat-back plus 400 cell catted downpipes. Valvetronic describes these as EPA compliant high-flow catalysts that reduce backpressure for faster turbo spool and sharper throttle response.

Valvetronic does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this system. Check the emissions and sound rules where you drive before ordering.

Fitment Notes

Fits US-market Audi RS Q8 (4M) models with the 4.0L twin-turbo V8, including the 2025-2027 RS Q8 performance. It does not fit the Audi Q8 or SQ8.
