Overview

The VRSF charge pipe replaces the plastic pipe between the intercooler and the throttle body on E-chassis BMWs with the N54 or N55 engine. It fits the 335i, 335is, 135i, 1M and X1 xDrive35i. N54 owners can keep the factory twin diverter valves or choose a TiAL/Turbosmart or HKS blow-off valve flange, and N55 owners get a version with no BOV flange.

Why Replace the Factory Pipe

The plastic factory charge pipe, BMW part 13717615026, is one of the most common failures on these engines, and higher boost makes it worse. When it cracks, the car loses boost and goes into limp mode. The VRSF aluminum pipe removes that weak point, and the 3-inch bore matched to the throttle body improves throttle response and cuts turbo lag.

Materials and Construction

The pipe is aluminum, powder coated black, with a CNC-machined billet throttle body flange that keeps the factory C-clip for a better seal than a coupler and clamp. Two plugged 1/8-inch NPT bungs are built in for water-methanol injection, and caps are included to cover the intake recirculation ports.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
