VRSF F10 M5 / F12 M6 Competition HD Intercooler | 2012-2017

The VRSF Competition HD intercoolers replace the pair of factory air-to-water intercoolers on the S63 V8 in the F10 M5 and the F12, F13 and F06 M6. They are a direct, fully reversible replacement for BMW parts 17517843119 and 17517843123, with more than 50 percent more cooling capacity.

What It Does

The S63 makes big boost, and once it is tuned the factory intercoolers heat soak quickly, raising intake temperatures and costing power from pull to pull. The larger VRSF cores remove far more heat, so intake temperatures stay lower and more consistent. They are also a good fix for owners dealing with leaky factory intercoolers.

Materials and Construction

Each unit uses a high-density bar-and-plate core with staggered, offset fins and CFD-designed cast aluminum end tanks. They are powder coated black, hand finished and pressure tested before shipping. Plugged 1/8-inch NPT bungs are built in for water-methanol injection, and all required hardware is included.
