Cold air intakes are aFe Power's flagship category, and the one most AutoTalent customers come to the brand for. The range is organized into three lines with distinct positioning. Momentum is the top tier — a sealed one-piece airbox designed to isolate the filter from engine heat, paired with a large conical filter in either Pro DRY S (oil-free synthetic) or Pro 5R (oiled cotton gauze) media. Magnum FORCE is aFe's stage 2 open-element intake, typically more affordable and louder under throttle, favored by owners who want the audible intake character. Magnum FLOW covers drop-in replacement panel filters that fit inside the factory airbox for owners who want flow improvement without replacing the housing.

A few things worth knowing before ordering. Pro DRY S vs Pro 5R is a real choice — Pro DRY S requires no re-oiling after cleaning and is often preferred on MAF-sensor cars where filter oil migration can cause sensor issues; Pro 5R flows slightly more air but needs periodic re-oiling with aFe's cleaning kit. Many aFe intakes carry CARB Executive Order (EO) numbers for legal street use in California, but EO status is application-specific — check the product page for your exact part before ordering if you're in a CARB state. Fitment spans Ford (F-150, Raptor, Mustang, Power Stroke diesels, Focus ST), Jeep (Wrangler JK/JL, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee including Trackhawk), Ram (1500, TRX, Cummins, EcoDiesel), BMW (M cars, X5 M/X6 M, 335i/435i), GM, Dodge, Toyota Supra and trucks, Nissan/Infiniti, Subaru, and more.

Every aFe intake is CAD-designed and dyno-tested against its specific platform, which is why fitment is consistent across the catalog. For the full aFe Power range — including aFe cat-back exhausts to pair with an intake — see the main aFe Power page. Call the AutoTalent team for help matching the right intake tier to your build.
