Shop Honda Civic Type R FK8 parts for the 2017–2021 US-market Type R, including cat-back exhausts, downpipes, intakes, intercoolers, springs, coilovers, brakes, wheels and aero. Every part in this collection lists the FK8 or a 2017–2021 Civic Type R in its fitment. The FK8 and the newer FL5 share the K20C1 engine family, but most intakes, exhausts and body parts are model-specific, so check the listing before you order.

The FK8 makes 306 hp from its 2.0L turbo, and it responds well to bolt-ons and a tune. Most builds start with an intake and exhaust, then add intercooler and cooling upgrades, suspension and brakes. Because the FK8 has been out since 2017, it has one of the deepest aftermarkets of any modern hot hatch, and the parts below are grouped by system. We carry FK8 parts from Milltek, AWE, Remus, Borla, Corsa, aFe, Injen, Mishimoto, Eventuri, Öhlins, Eibach, APR Performance, Titan 7 and more.

FK8 Intake and Intercooler

Shop the Eventuri carbon intake and charge pipe for the FK8, plus aFe, Injen, AEM and Mishimoto intakes. Mishimoto intercoolers and Injen front-mount intercoolers help a tuned FK8 hold power on hot days. Compare options in the best Eventuri Civic Type R intakes.

FK8 Exhaust

Choose an FK8 cat-back from Milltek, AWE Tuning, Remus, Borla, Corsa, aFe, Injen or Fi Exhaust, and add a Milltek downpipe for more flow. Read our cat-back vs axle-back guide if you're deciding between systems.

FK8 Suspension and Wheels

Eibach, H&R, Swift, aFe and AST springs lower the car, and Eibach anti-roll kits sharpen turn-in. For the track, look at Öhlins and BC Racing coilovers. Titan 7 and HRE make forged wheels in FK8 fitments.

FK8 Brakes

Upgrade with Brembo big brake kits for the FK8, or GiroDisc slotted rotors and rings for a lighter two-piece setup.

FK8 Aero, Cooling and Drivetrain

APR Performance offers FK8 wings, splitters, canards and cooling plates. Mishimoto radiators, oil coolers and hoses handle heat, and ACT and Exedy clutches and flywheels handle extra torque.

FK8 Civic Type R Parts FAQ

What years is the FK8 Civic Type R?

In the US, the FK8 Civic Type R was sold for the 2017–2021 model years. The FL5 replaced it for 2023.

Do FL5 parts fit the FK8?

Only when the listing says so. Some wheels, downpipes and clutch parts fit both, but most intakes, exhausts and aero parts are model-specific.

What is the best first mod for an FK8?

An intake or cat-back exhaust. If you plan to tune, an upgraded intercooler is a smart next step.
