Active Autowerke hand-builds these Signature S63 downpipes for the twin-turbo V8 BMW F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6. Active Autowerke states they are for the F10-generation M5 and M6 V8 cars only. Each pipe carries a 4.5 in Active Autowerke AFlow high-flow catalytic converter, and Active Autowerke says no performance tune is needed.

What It Does

Turbo speed is limited mostly by exhaust back pressure. Cutting that restriction lets the turbos spool faster and more easily, which gives quicker revs and more power. These downpipes use full 3 in piping with as few bends as possible, so the S63 feels faster and more responsive. Active Autowerke guarantees the AFlow cats against a cat-efficiency code, with full replacement within the first two years of ownership.
