Active Autowerke G90 M5/G99 M5 Touring S68 GESI Downpipes

These Active Autowerke downpipes are for the S68 twin-turbo V8 in the BMW G90 M5 and G99 M5 Touring. They replace the restrictive factory downpipes and include the lower section that some brands sell separately as a "mid pipe". Each side carries a 5 in GESI G-Sport ultra high output cat rated for up to 1,000 hp, and Active Autowerke says no performance tune is needed.

They accept the factory O2 sensor heat shield for a stock-looking engine bay.

What It Does

Opening up the factory downpipes cuts radiant heat and lets the turbos spool sooner, which Active Autowerke says brings more horsepower and torque across the rev range and less turbo lag.

Materials and Construction

Made in house in Miami, Florida from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel. Each set uses a factory-matched offset inlet that tapers into a mandrel-bent body, with 3 in piping, a 400 cpsi catalyst substrate and cast stainless upper V-band. Every set is checked for fit, and they bolt on with no cutting or welding.
