Overview

The AMS Performance R35 GT-R 90mm Race Midpipe with the 76mm exit (part number ALP.07.05.0003-2) brings the big-bore AMS midpipe design to GT-Rs that keep the factory muffler section or a 76mm (3") aftermarket rear section. The twin 76mm inlets from the downpipes merge into a 90mm (3.5") primary instead of the usual 76mm, so the merge point no longer chokes flow at high boost. Less turbulence and backpressure means quicker spool and more power.

At the back, the pipe steps down to a 76mm exit that bolts straight to the factory rear section or to most 76mm muffler-back systems. That makes it an easy choice for a street car that wants the flow benefit of the larger primary without replacing the whole exhaust. If you already run a 90mm rear section, choose the 90mm-exit version instead.

Each midpipe is made from 304 stainless and hand TIG welded by AMS fabricators. Twin stainless flex sections with smooth-bore liners handle engine movement, and all joints use 3/8" flanges, so nothing can slip apart.

FAQ

Will it bolt to my stock muffler section?
Yes. The 76mm exit is made to connect to the factory rear section and most 76mm muffler-back systems.

Is there a catted version?
Yes. AMS offers a 90mm catted midpipe with GESI converters, also with a 76mm exit.

Do I need a tune?
A tune is recommended to get the most from the added flow, and it is required when you also run catless downpipes.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified.
