Overview

The AMS Performance Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost Street Downpipes (part number AMS.32.05.0001-1) replace the restrictive factory downpipes on 2015-2020 F-150 trucks with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost. The factory pipes choke exhaust flow right after the turbos, which slows spool and limits power on a tuned truck.

AMS engineers modeled smoother, more organic transitions in SolidWorks so exhaust gas leaves the turbos faster. The inlet has 24.7% more cross-sectional area than stock, which AMS says is the largest on the market, and it steps quickly from the factory inlet size to 3" piping. The result is faster turbo spool and more power, sooner.

These are street downpipes with EPA-compliant catalytic converters that AMS says are 49-state legal and do not set a check-engine light. The inlet flanges bottom out on the factory studs, the mounting flanges are chamfered to spread clamping force, and the outlet sits 1 cm higher for better crossmember clearance.

FAQ

Does it fit the Raptor?
No. AMS lists it for the 2015-2020 F-150 3.5L EcoBoost, excluding the Raptor. AMS makes separate Raptor downpipes.

Will it set a check-engine light?
AMS says the EPA-compliant converters do not trigger a check-engine light.

Is it legal in California?
AMS describes the converters as 49-state legal. Check California rules before installing.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
