AMS Alpha Fuel System Twin Pump Kit | Lamborghini Huracan / Audi R8

The AMS Performance Alpha Fuel System Twin Pump Kit (ALP.37.07.0002-1) upgrades the in-tank fuel pump system on the 2015-2024 Lamborghini Huracan and the 2017-2023 Audi R8 V10. The factory brushless pump and its routing work well at stock power, but they were never specced for the 1,000+ hp that AMS sees from its Alpha twin turbo builds.

AMS rebuilt the pump assembly with twin brushless pumps, a CNC machined red anodized bulkhead and pump outlet manifold, and machined brackets that hold the pumps in the basket. As part of the full Alpha Fuel System it supports 2,400+ hp on gasoline and 1,600+ hp on E85, and every material is ethanol and methanol compatible. The big win is the siphon system: AMS kept it working with a proprietary routing that keeps both sides of the saddle tank and the pump assembly full. That means no half-tank minimum, no external surge tank and an accurate fuel gauge.

Lines are externally corrugated, smooth-bore PTFE hose with race-grade AN and quick connect fittings. Plug 'n Play harnesses make the wiring simple, and AMS includes a 3D printed template for trimming the plastic assembly to fit the second pump, plus a 55 page full-colour install guide. The system works with the stock ECU or standalone software such as MoTeC M142.

AMS does not publish a full parts list for this kit; the items above are the ones AMS names as included, and the gallery shows the kit as AMS photographs it. Call us before ordering if you need to confirm a specific part.

The four Alpha Fuel System parts are designed to work together. AMS notes some custom fitting is needed if you are not running the complete system. Stock ECU use depends on the calibration software. AMS guarantees function only with its own stock ECU tuning in its Alpha packages, so confirm with your tuner. AMS states that its fuel system parts must be installed and removed only by a qualified motorsport technician trained on this vehicle.

AMS's R8/Huracan Alpha Fuel System installation guide (PDF) covers the twin pump kit, the FPR and line kit, the fuel rail kit and the flex fuel add-on. AMS splits its R8/Huracan Alpha Fuel System into four parts that are sold separately but designed to work as one system: the Twin or Triple Pump Kit at the tank, the Fuel Pressure Regulator + Fuel Line Kit in the engine bay, the Fuel Rail Kit on the intake manifold, and an optional Flex Fuel Kit add-on. AMS notes that some custom fitting is needed if you are not running the complete Alpha Fuel System.

Twin or triple pump?
The twin pump kit supports 2,400+ hp on gasoline and 1,600+ hp on E85 as part of the full system. The AMS Alpha Fuel System Triple Pump Kit raises that to 3,200+ hp on gasoline and 2,400+ hp on E85.

What else do I need for the complete system?
The AMS Alpha Fuel Pressure Regulator + Fuel Line Kit and the AMS Alpha Fuel System Fuel Rail Kit complete the Alpha Fuel System from the tank to the injectors.

Can I still run the tank low?
Yes. AMS kept the siphon system working, so there is no half-tank minimum and the fuel gauge reads like stock.
