Active Autowerke G80 M3/G82 M4/G87 M2 S58 GESI Downpipes

Active Autowerke builds this pair of S58 downpipes for the BMW G80 M3, G82 M4 and G87 M2. Each pipe uses 4.5 in tubing and a 4.5 in GESI ultra high-flow catalytic converter, which Active Autowerke describes as the most advanced cat GESI makes today, rated for 500 to 850 hp per cat.

The factory S58 downpipes carry dense cats right after the turbos. Replacing them frees up flow where it matters most.

This variant includes a pair of 4.5" ultra-high flow GESI catalytic converters that will NOT produce a CEL! GESI UHO-Series Catalytic Converters are EPA registered and compliant in 49 states and fully OBD2 compliant, perfect for use on 1996 and newer vehicles. GESI proprietary precious metal loading technology ensures greatly reduced emissions, eliminating most "Check Engine Lights". Say goodbye to Check Engine Lights and failed emissions tests! What It Does

Lower back pressure at the turbo outlets helps the twin turbos spool sooner and gives a tuned S58 room for big power, with a deeper, louder sound. The downpipes are often the first step before a tune and the rest of an Active Autowerke system.

Materials and Construction

TIG-welded 304 stainless steel with cast stainless upper V-band clamps for a precise fit, a braided flex section on each pipe and a 400 cpsi catalyst substrate. They bolt on with no cutting or welding.

Fitment Notes

• Active Autowerke lists the G80 M3 sedan and G82 M4 coupe. The G83 M4 Convertible is not on its list, so contact us before ordering for that car.
• Active Autowerke covers the shell and tube ends for 5 years / 50,000 miles and the catalyst core for 2 years / 25,000 miles for the original buyer. Excessive burble (more than stock) voids the warranty because it destroys the catalyst core.
