The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust gives the C8 Corvette Stingray and E-Ray the voice the LT2 should have had from the factory. AWE built it for owners who want an exotic, layered V8 note every time they open the throttle, yet still want a quiet cabin on a long highway run. It does that without a single valve: the system is a dual 3-inch, straight-through cat-back that relies on AWE's patented 180 Technology® rear mufflers to remove drone instead of choking flow.

The C8's cylinder deactivation is the usual problem with aftermarket exhausts, because the tone changes sharply when the engine drops into V4 mode. AWE tuned the Touring Edition specifically to defeat that in-cabin tone change, so cruising sounds smooth whether the car is running on four cylinders or eight. Under load, AWE's asymmetric layout and its unique crossover, fed from both the top and the bottom, give the LT2 a rich, aggressive bark at idle, on a rev and at wide open throttle.

Fewer bends mean less restriction, and AWE measured up to 19 hp and 15 lb-ft of torque at the wheels along with a 31 lb weight saving over the stock system. Robust 8-inch lined flex sections isolate engine movement for long-term durability. Quad 4.5-inch double-walled slash-cut tips finish the back of the car in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, and the system bolts on with no cutting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it drone on the highway or in V4 mode?
No. The 180 Technology® mufflers cancel drone frequencies and AWE tuned the system so the cabin tone does not jump when the engine switches between V4 and V8 modes.

Does it use valves?
No. It is valveless. AWE includes AFM and NPP valve simulators so the car sees no fault codes.

Does it fit the E-Ray?
Yes. It fits the 2024-2026 E-Ray as well as the 2020-2026 Stingray, coupe or convertible.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a bolt-on cat-back and AWE guarantees no check engine light.

Can I make it louder later?
Yes. The Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit swaps the mufflers for straight Track sections.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2020-2026 C8 Corvette Stingray, including Z51 cars, and the 2024-2026 Corvette E-Ray, in coupe or convertible form. It does not fit the C8 Z06 or ZR1 with the 5.5L flat-plane V8, which use a different exhaust.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
