AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla

The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust gives the Toyota GR Corolla a sound that matches the way the G16E-GTS pulls, without wearing you out on the drive home. The turbocharged three-cylinder has a distinctive, offbeat pulse, and the factory system hides most of it behind a valve and a lot of backpressure. AWE threw out that approach: this is a valveless, non-baffled, straight-through cat-back, and the only sound control is AWE's patented 180 Technology® muffler in the front section.

That muffler is the reason the Touring Edition is easy to live with. Three-cylinder engines are notorious for droning at highway speed, and 180 Technology® uses tuned chambers to send those frequencies back out of phase so they cancel, while flow stays unrestricted. The result is a deep, full-bodied note from idle to redline, and a calm cabin when you settle in at cruising speed.

At the back, AWE skipped the fake quad layout. The system steps from a single 3-inch pipe to triple 2.5-inch pipes through a tailored tri-merge, finishing in one bespoke 4.5 x 8-inch oval tip in the middle and two 5-inch tips either side, all double-walled and slash-cut, in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The 3-inch inlet lines up with 3-inch aftermarket downpipes, and the factory valve motor bolts to an integrated mount so nothing hangs loose.

Will it drone on the highway?
No. The 180 Technology® muffler is there to cancel the three-cylinder drone frequencies at cruising speed.

What happens to the factory exhaust valve?
The system is valveless. The factory valve motor bolts to an integrated mount on the exhaust so it stays secure.

Will it work with an aftermarket downpipe?
Yes. The 3-inch inlet is sized for 3-inch aftermarket downpipes.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a bolt-on cat-back and AWE guarantees no check engine light.

Can I make it louder later?
Yes. The Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit replaces the muffler section with a straight pipe.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2023-2026 Toyota GR Corolla hatchback with the 1.6L turbocharged three-cylinder and GR-Four AWD, manual or automatic. It does not fit the regular Corolla or Corolla hatchback with the 2.0L engine, or the GR86.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
