The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the 2018-2021 Volkswagen GTI Mk7.5 produces a civil tone while idling and cruising, then a "war-cry wail" when you give it the boot. A tailored resonated mid-pipe and mid-muffler let it accompany both stock and aftermarket downpipes while staying civil inside the cabin, and AWE recommends it for GTIs running an aftermarket downpipe.

It is handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent 3" and 2.25" U.S.-sourced .065" wall T304L stainless steel, with a clean, straight-through design that AWE says maximizes performance. The system is a direct bolt-on for factory-like simplicity and finishes with 102mm double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. With an aftermarket downpipe, AWE quotes up to 21 hp and 24 lb-ft at the crank without software, dyno-developed and street-proven on its in-house GTI.

How loud is the Touring Edition on a 2018-2021 GTI?
AWE built the Touring Edition to stay civil at idle and on the highway, then open up under throttle. With an aftermarket downpipe it gets louder; AWE ranks it as the quieter of the two editions with either downpipe.

How much power does it add?
AWE quotes a maximum gain of 21 hp and 24 lb-ft at the crank without software, measured when the cat-back is paired with an aftermarket downpipe. On a stock downpipe, expect a smaller gain; AWE does not publish a separate figure.

Does it work with the factory downpipe?

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.
