AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for 2022-2026 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the 2022-2026 Volkswagen Jetta GLI is the sophisticated, drone-free half of AWE's GLI exhaust suite. Its two rear mufflers carry AWE's proprietary, patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®, which cancels the problematic frequencies that cause cabin drone and leaves the AWE signature note. AWE released it in October 2025, building on what it learned from the long-running Mk7 GLI to give the facelifted car "that perfect pitch".

The cat-back is handcrafted from 3" and 2.5" CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel with a .065" wall. A slip-fit inlet adapter gives perfect factory downpipe fitment while leaving an open 3" connection, and the clean, straight-through design helped AWE record dyno-proven max gains of +4 hp and +8 lb-ft at the wheels. It is 9 lb lighter than stock and finishes with two 5" double-walled, slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Will it drone on the highway?
AWE calls the Touring Edition drone-free. Its rear mufflers use 180 Technology®, which cancels the frequencies that cause drone, so the cabin stays calm at cruise and the AWE note comes in under throttle.

Does it fit the factory downpipe?
Yes. AWE includes a slip-fit inlet adapter that slides into the factory front pipe for a perfect fit with the stock downpipe, while leaving an open 3" connection.

Can I make it louder later?
Yes. The Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit swaps the two rear mufflers for straight Track sections, so you do not need a whole new system.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a direct bolt-on cat-back and AWE backs it with its No Check Engine Light Guarantee.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2022-2026 Jetta GLI sedan with the 2.0T only. It does not fit the standard Jetta 1.5T or the 2019-2021 GLI.
• All of the factory hangers and hardware are reused with the AWE system.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
