AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2022-2026 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the 2022-2026 Volkswagen Jetta GLI is the more unleashed half of AWE's GLI exhaust suite. In place of the Touring Edition's rear mufflers it runs two straight rear Track sections, so the 2.0T is heard loud and clear, and it saves 18 lb over the factory system, twice the Touring Edition's savings. AWE released the suite in October 2025 after years of development on the Mk7 GLI.

It is handcrafted from 3" and 2.5" CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel with a .065" wall, with a resonated front section and a clean, straight-through layout that helped AWE record dyno-proven max gains of +4 hp and +8 lb-ft at the wheels. A slip-fit inlet adapter gives perfect factory downpipe fitment while leaving an open 3" connection, and two 5" double-walled, slash-cut tips finish it in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. If it ever proves too much, the Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit adds the 180 Technology® mufflers back.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

How loud is the Track Edition?
AWE describes it as the more unleashed edition. It drops the rear mufflers for straight sections, so it is clearly louder than the drone-free Touring Edition. Listen to the clip above before you order.

Does it fit the factory downpipe?
Yes. AWE includes a slip-fit inlet adapter that slides into the factory front pipe for a perfect fit with the stock downpipe, while leaving an open 3" connection.

Can I tone it down later?
Yes. The Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit swaps the straight rear sections for 180 Technology® mufflers, turning it into a Touring Edition.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a direct bolt-on cat-back and AWE backs it with its No Check Engine Light Guarantee.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2022-2026 Jetta GLI sedan with the 2.0T only. It does not fit the standard Jetta 1.5T or the 2019-2021 GLI.
• All of the factory hangers and hardware are reused with the AWE system.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
• AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please listen to the clip above before ordering.
