It is handcrafted from 2.5" CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065" wall T304L stainless steel and bolts directly to the factory mid-section via OEM-matched flanges, with new gaskets included. AWE lists it at just 12 lbs against 26 lbs for the stock system. It finishes with quad 4" double-walled, slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver, Diamond Black or Vapor Blue. Is the AWE Track Edition axle-back legal on a VB WRX?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

How loud is the Track Edition on the WRX?
Track is the loud one. Without the 180 Technology® resonators it delivers what AWE calls an unfiltered BOXER® rumble, inside and outside the car. Listen to the clip above before ordering, because AWE does not take Track Edition returns for sound preference.

How does the axle-back install?
