AWE Track Edition Exhaust (Cat-Back) for 2022-2026 Subaru WRX (VB)

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the 2022-2026 Subaru WRX is the louder of AWE's two 3" cat-backs for the VB chassis. It keeps the same engineering as the Touring Edition but leaves out the 180 Technology® rear resonators, so the 2.4L FA24 speaks with a rowdier, less filtered BOXER® rumble, and it costs less as well.

Like the Touring system, it uses a slip-fit inlet adapter for perfect factory downpipe fitment while leaving an open 3" connection, and a clean, straight-through design that maximizes flow. AWE quotes max gains of 7 hp and 4 lb-ft at the wheels with no tune required. It is handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065" wall T304L stainless steel and finishes with 4" double-walled, slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver, Diamond Black or Vapor Blue. AWE offers conversion kits if you later want to switch editions.

Is the AWE Track Edition cat-back legal on a VB WRX?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

How loud is the Track Edition on the WRX?
Track is the loud one. Without the 180 Technology® resonators it delivers what AWE calls an unfiltered BOXER® rumble, inside and outside the car. Listen to the clip above before ordering, because AWE does not take Track Edition returns for sound preference.

How much power does it add?
AWE quotes max gains of 7 hp and 4 lb-ft of torque at the wheels for its VB WRX cat-back exhausts. No tune is required.

Will it fit my aftermarket downpipe?
The cat-back uses a slip-fit inlet adapter for perfect factory downpipe fitment, and AWE leaves an open 3" connection behind it. Call us with your downpipe brand and we will confirm the connection before you order.

Can I switch editions later?
Yes. AWE offers conversion kits that let you switch between Touring and Track Edition on the WRX cat-back. Call us and we will source the right kit for your system.

Cat-back or axle-back?
The cat-back replaces everything behind the downpipe in 3" tubing and carries AWE's 7 hp claim. The axle-back gives you the AWE sound at a lower price and bolts to the factory mid-section.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2022-2026 VB WRX sedan with the 2.4L FA24 only; it does not fit the 2015-2021 VA WRX or the WRX STI.
• Mates to the factory downpipe through the slip-fit inlet adapter.
• Vapor Blue tips carry no finish warranty; see the warranty table above.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
• AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please listen to the clip above before ordering.
