AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2023-2026 BMW M2 G87

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the G87 BMW M2 is the rowdy alternative to the SwitchPath™: the same dual 3-inch, 50-state emissions-compliant layout and bespoke X-pipe, but with straight-through rear sections and no valved muffler. The result is a constant "valve open" S58 soundtrack every time the M2 starts.

The X-pipe keeps the twin-turbo six smooth rather than raspy even without a rear muffler, and the clean, straight-through design is all about flow. Paired with AWE's optional non-resonated mid pipes (sold separately), the Track Edition setup is 13 lb lighter than the stock exhaust.

It mounts on ball sockets for easier installation and ends in quad 4.5-inch double-walled slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. AWE manufactures it in-house in the USA and backs it with the AWE No CEL Guarantee, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and Lifetime Warranty.

How loud is the Track Edition?
It is the loudest G87 exhaust AWE builds, with constant valve-open sound. Listen to clips before ordering, as Track Edition systems cannot be returned for sound preference.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a cat-back system and AWE guarantees no check engine light.
