AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R FK8

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is the FK8 Civic Type R system for owners who want every bit of the K20C1's turbo snarl. It is a full 3-inch cat-back with an integrated front pipe, a clean straight-through layout and no rear muffler. A straight section feeds AWE's bespoke stamped stainless trident merge and three 4.5-inch double-walled slash-cut tips, so the car keeps its signature center exit while sounding nothing like stock.

AWE's thinking on the Track Edition is simple: less is more. With no 180 Technology® muffler at the back, exhaust gas takes the most direct path from the downpipe to the tips. That gives the loudest and most aggressive FK8 sound AWE makes, with a sharp edge under boost and pops on the overrun. AWE measured up to 5 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

Like every AWE system it is handcrafted in the USA from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and installs as a direct bolt-on. Expect drone at highway speed: this is the choice for track days, autocross and owners who want the Type R to be heard.

AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a bolt-on cat-back and AWE guarantees no check engine light.

How do I look after Vapor Blue tips?
Vapor Blue tips carry no AWE warranty; wash them gently and do not use metal polish on them.

Fitment Notes

• Built for U.S.-market 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) hatchbacks, including the 2021 Limited Edition. AWE only confirms fitment on U.S. models, so it is not offered for other markets. It does not fit the FL5 Civic Type R or the FK7 Civic Sport and Si.
• Each system includes its own integrated front pipe and bolts to the factory downpipe flange, so do not pair it with a separate aftermarket front pipe.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
• AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please be sure of the sound level you want before ordering.
