Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi 4L Q7 (2007-2015)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the first-generation Audi Q7 (4L), sold in the US for the 2007-2015 model years. There are two front kits and one rear kit: a GT 6-piston front kit on 405x34mm two-piece discs, a GT 8-piston front kit on 380x34mm two-piece discs, and a GT 4-piston rear kit on 380x28mm two-piece discs. The Q7 is a heavy three-row SUV, and many owners tow with it, so the brakes work hard when the truck is loaded or coming down long grades. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The GT 6-piston front kit has the largest disc on this page and comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 8-piston front kit comes in black, red or silver with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 4-piston rear kit comes in the same six finishes as the 6-piston kit, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs and a GT 8-piston kit on 380x34mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 380x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 8-piston 380x34mm kit: black, red, and silver. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 8-piston 380x34mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 380x28mm kit.

FAQ

Which front kit should I choose?
The GT 6-piston kit uses the larger 405mm disc and offers more caliper finishes. The GT 8-piston kit uses a 380mm disc and comes in black, red or silver. Check wheel clearance for the kit you choose.

Can I add the rear kit later?
Yes. Each Brembo system is sold as a complete axle set, so you can fit a front kit first and add the GT 4-piston rear kit later.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the Q7. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Audi Q7 (4L) 2007-2015. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
