Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi 8R Q5 (2009-2017)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the first-generation Audi Q5 (8R), sold in the US for the 2009-2017 model years. All three kits are front kits with GT 6-piston calipers, and which one fits depends on your engine. The 355x32mm kit is listed for the 2.0T and 3.2L V6 cars. The 380x32mm kit is listed for the 3.0T, TDI and Hybrid cars. The 380x34mm kit is listed for all of these engines. The Q5 is a compact SUV that many owners use for towing and family trips, so a larger front brake adds heat capacity when the car is loaded. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The kit option shows the engines each kit is listed for, so pick the one that matches your Q5. The 355mm kit comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The 380x32mm kit comes in the same six finishes, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The 380x34mm kit comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: each kit name starts with the cars it fits, so pick your group first. "2.0T & 3.2L V6": front GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. "3.0T, TDI & Hybrid": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs. "All engines": front GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs. Then choose the axle and kit.
• Finish: "2.0T & 3.2L V6" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit and "3.0T, TDI & Hybrid" front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); "All engines" front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the "2.0T & 3.2L V6" front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the "3.0T, TDI & Hybrid" front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit and "All engines" front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit.

Which kit fits my Q5?
Brembo lists the 355x32mm kit for the Q5 2.0T and 3.2L V6, the 380x32mm kit for the Q5 3.0T, TDI and Hybrid (2013-2017), and the 380x34mm kit for all of these engines. The kit option on this page shows the engines for each kit.

Is there a rear kit for the 8R Q5?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi Q5 (8R).

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the Q5. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Audi Q5 (8R): 2.0T and 3.2L V6 cars 2009-2017, and 3.0T, TDI and Hybrid cars 2013-2017. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
