Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi 8P A3 (2006-2013)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the second-generation Audi A3 (8P), sold in the US for the 2006-2013 model years. All four kits are front kits: a GT 4-piston kit on 345x30mm one-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm two-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 365x29mm two-piece discs, and a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm two-piece discs. The 8P A3 is a compact premium hatchback, and a Brembo front kit adds stopping power and heat capacity for spirited driving or an occasional track day. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The GT 4-piston kit with one-piece discs is the lowest-priced front kit and comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The 355mm GT 4-piston kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The 365mm GT 4-piston kit comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled discs. The GT 6-piston kit comes in the same six finishes, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Four front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 345x30mm 1-piece discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 365x29mm discs, and a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 345x30mm 1-piece kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit: black, red, and silver; front GT 4-piston 365x29mm kit and front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 345x30mm 1-piece kit, front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit, and front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled on the front GT 4-piston 365x29mm kit.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

Is there a rear kit for the 8P A3?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi A3 (8P).

Which kit should I choose?
For a street car, the GT 4-piston kit with one-piece discs is the simplest upgrade. The 355mm and 365mm GT 4-piston kits and the GT 6-piston kit use two-piece discs, which are lighter and handle heat better. Check wheel clearance for the kit you choose.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 365mm kits need the most room on the A3. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Audi A3 (8P) 2006-2013. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
