Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi B7 A4 (2006-2008)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi A4 (B7), sold in the US for the 2006-2008 model years. There are three front kits and one rear kit: GT 4-piston front kits on 332x32mm or 355x32mm two-piece discs, a GT 6-piston front kit on 355x32mm two-piece discs, and a GT 4-piston rear kit on 345x28mm two-piece discs. The B7 A4 2.0T is one of the most tuned Audis of its era, and more power calls for brakes that stay consistent on a fast road or a track day. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The 332mm GT 4-piston kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 1 slotted discs. The 355mm GT 4-piston kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 4-piston rear kit comes in black, red or silver, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs.

Please note: Brembo marks the GT 4-piston rear kit NOT FOR ROAD USE, because it eliminates the parking/emergency brake function. It is meant for track cars only. For a street car, choose a front kit.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Three front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs, a GT 4-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, and a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit, front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit, and rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, and silver; front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 355x32mm kit and front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Can I use the rear kit on the street?
No. Brembo marks the B7 A4 rear kit "NOT FOR ROAD USE" because it eliminates the parking/emergency brake function. It is for dedicated track cars.

Which front kit should I choose?
The 4-piston kits are the simplest upgrade and come in black, red or silver. The GT 6-piston kit adds caliper stiffness and the GT-S and GT-R finishes. Larger discs add heat capacity but need more wheel clearance.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the A4. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Audi A4 (B7) 2006-2008. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
