Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi B8 A4 (2009-2016)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi A4 (B8 and B8.5), sold in the US for the 2009-2016 model years. All four kits are front kits: a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm two-piece discs, two GT 6-piston kits on 380x34mm two-piece discs, and a PISTA 6-piston race kit on 380x35mm two-piece discs. The B8 A4 is one of the most common tuned Audis in the US, and a stage 1 or stage 2 2.0T makes enough extra power that the factory front brakes start to fade on a fast canyon road or at a track day. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs. On 380x34mm discs there are two GT 6-piston caliper families. The N caliper comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet. The T caliper comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. Both kits are offered with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The PISTA kit is Brembo's race system, with disc springs and a centering ring, on 380x35mm two-piece discs with Type 3 or Type 5 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Four front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (N caliper family), a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (T caliper family), and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x35mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit and front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper): black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper): black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; the PISTA kit: Brembo's standard PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper) and front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper); Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on the PISTA kit.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Do these fit both front-drive and quattro A4s?
Brembo lists the kits for the A4 (B8) 2009-2016 without excluding front-drive or quattro models, and the sedan and Avant are not split out in the list (the separate A4 allroad is not covered by this page). Send us your VIN if you want us to confirm before you order.

Is there a rear kit for the B8 A4?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi A4 (B8).

Which front kit should I choose?
For the most choice of finishes, pick the 380mm N caliper kit. The 355mm kit is the lowest-priced GT option and needs the least wheel clearance. The PISTA kit is for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the A4. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Audi A4 (B8) 2009-2016, which covers the B8 and the facelifted B8.5 cars. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
