Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi B9 A4 (2017-2025)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi A4 (B9 and B9.5), sold in the US for the 2017-2025 model years. All three kits are front kits: two GT 6-piston kits, one on 380x32mm and one on 380x34mm two-piece discs, and a PISTA 6-piston race kit on 380x35mm two-piece discs. The B9 A4 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and tuned 45 TFSI cars are quick enough that the factory front brakes can fade after a few hard laps. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs uses Brembo's T caliper and comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow, with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The PISTA kit is Brembo's race system, with disc springs and a centering ring, on 380x35mm two-piece discs with Type 3 or Type 5 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Three front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x32mm discs, a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs, and a PISTA 6-piston kit on 380x35mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow; the PISTA kit: Brembo's standard PISTA finish. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days; Type 5 Slotted is a PISTA race disc for long, hot sessions. Offered as follows: Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 380x32mm kit and front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit; Type 3 Slotted and Type 5 Slotted on the PISTA kit.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

Is there a rear kit for the B9 A4?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi A4 (B9).

Which front kit should I choose?
Pick the 380x32mm kit if you want the GT-S or GT-R finish, or the 380x34mm T caliper kit for fluorescent yellow and a thicker disc. Both suit a street car that sees track days; the PISTA kit is for long, hot track sessions.

Does this fit the new-generation A5 or S5?
No. These kits are listed for the B9 generation only. The all-new A5 and S5 that replaced the A4 and A5 Sportback in the US use a different platform and are not covered by this page.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 380mm kits need the most room on the A4. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the Audi A4 (B9) 2017-2025, which covers the B9 and the facelifted B9.5 cars. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
