Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi FY SQ5 (2018-2025)

This page lists every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi SQ5 (FY), sold in the US for the 2018-2025 model years. All three kits are GT 6-piston front kits on two-piece discs: two on 380x34mm discs, in Brembo's N and T caliper families, and one on 405x34mm discs. The FY SQ5 has a 3.0-liter turbo V6 and quattro all-wheel drive, and a tuned SQ5 is fast enough that a front brake with more heat capacity is a common upgrade. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The N caliper comes in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S hard-anodized black or GT-R nickel-plated billet. The T caliper comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. Both kits are offered with drilled, Type 1 slotted or Type 3 slotted discs. The GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm two-piece discs comes in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow, with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Three front kits are listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (N caliper family), a GT 6-piston kit on 380x34mm discs (T caliper family), and a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper): black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated); front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper) and front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit: black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (N caliper) and front GT 6-piston 380x34mm kit (T caliper); Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 405x34mm kit.

FAQ

Is my 2025 SQ5 the FY or the newer GU generation?
In the US both generations were sold as 2025 models. This page covers the FY generation. For the new-generation SQ5 (GU), see our GU SQ5 page, or send us your VIN and we will confirm.

Which front kit should I choose?
For the most choice of finishes, including GT-S and GT-R, pick the 380mm N caliper kit, which is also the lowest-priced kit here. The 405mm kit has the largest disc and needs the most wheel clearance.

What is the difference between the N and T caliper kits?
Both are 6-piston GT calipers on the same disc size. Brembo lists them as two caliper families with different finish choices: the N caliper offers silver, GT-S and GT-R, and the T caliper offers fluorescent yellow.

Does this fit the SQ5 Sportback?
Brembo lists the kits for the SQ5 (FY) 2018-2025 and does not split out the SUV or the Sportback, which was sold in the US from the 2021 model year.

Is there a rear kit for the FY SQ5?
Brembo's current application list has front kits only for the Audi SQ5 (FY).

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the SQ5. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the Audi SQ5 (FY) 2018-2025. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
