Brembo Big Brake Kits for Audi GU SQ5 (2025-2026)

This page lists the Brembo big brake kit we offer for the Audi SQ5 (GU), sold in the US for the 2025-2026 model years. Brembo lists one front kit for this car: a GT 6-piston caliper on a 405x34mm two-piece disc. The new-generation SQ5 has a 3.0-liter turbo V6 and quattro all-wheel drive, and a fast, heavy SUV like this benefits from a front brake that stays consistent through repeated hard stops. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

The caliper comes in four finishes: black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow. Each finish is offered with drilled or Type 3 slotted discs, and every option is sold as a complete front axle set.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: One front kit is listed first: a GT 6-piston kit on 405x34mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: every kit on this page comes in black, red, yellow, and fluorescent yellow. A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Every kit offers Drilled and Type 3 Slotted.

GT kits: add the finish code to the base part number for the exact part: 1 black, 2 red, 3 silver, 5 yellow, 7 fluorescent yellow, S GT-S, R GT-R. Replacement and upgrade pads for these calipers are sold separately.

FAQ

Is my 2025 SQ5 the GU or the older FY generation?
In the US both generations were sold as 2025 models. This page is for the new-generation SQ5 (GU), which reached US dealers in May 2025. If your car is the previous-generation SQ5, see our FY SQ5 page, or send us your VIN and we will confirm.

Does this fit the SQ5 Sportback?
Brembo lists the kit for the SQ5 (GU) and does not split out the SUV or the Sportback. Send us your VIN if you want us to confirm before you order.

Is there a rear kit for the SQ5 (GU)?
Brembo's current application list has a front kit only for the Audi SQ5 (GU).

Drilled or Type 3 slotted discs?
Both use the same 405x34mm two-piece disc and the same caliper. Drilled discs are a common choice for road cars, and Type 3 slotted discs are a common choice for cars that see track days. The price is the same for either disc.

Does it fit cars with carbon-ceramic brakes?
Contact us before you order if your car has factory carbon-ceramic brakes, so we can confirm fitment with Brembo.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the SQ5. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kit on this page for the Audi SQ5 (GU) 2025-2026. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems.
