Brembo Big Brake Kits for Nissan 300ZX (1990-1996)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32) is on this page: a GT 4-piston front kit on 332mm discs, a GT 6-piston front kit on 355mm discs, and a GT 4-piston rear kit on 345mm discs. The Z32 is a heavy grand tourer, and the twin-turbo cars in particular often run well above factory power. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Brembo lists all three kits for the 300ZX, turbo and non-turbo. Note that the 6-piston 355mm front kit requires modification to the OEM steering knuckle. The 4-piston 332mm kit does not carry that note.

Choosing Your Kit

• Kit: Two front kits are listed first: a GT 4-piston kit on 332x32mm discs and a GT 6-piston kit on 355x32mm discs. Then comes one rear kit: a GT 4-piston kit on 345x28mm discs. Each kit name gives the axle, the system (GT or PISTA), the piston count and the disc size.
• Finish: front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit: black, red, and silver; front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit and rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit: black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S (black hard-anodized), and GT-R (billet-machined and nickel-plated). A finish that a kit does not offer cannot be selected for it.
• Disc Type: drilled discs suit street driving and give good wet-weather bite; Type 1 Slotted is a street and occasional-track disc; Type 3 Slotted is aimed at regular track days. Offered as follows: Drilled and Type 1 Slotted on the front GT 4-piston 332x32mm kit; Drilled and Type 3 Slotted on the front GT 6-piston 355x32mm kit; Drilled, Type 1 Slotted, and Type 3 Slotted on the rear GT 4-piston 345x28mm kit.

FAQ

Which kit needs knuckle modification?
Brembo notes that the 6-piston 355x32mm front kit requires modification to the OEM steering knuckle.

Do these fit the twin turbo?
Yes. Brembo lists these kits for the 1990-1996 300ZX without splitting by engine.

Should I add the rear kit?
The 345mm rear kit balances a front upgrade and adds heat capacity for track use.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 355mm kits need the most room on the 300ZX. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists all kits on this page for the 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
