Brembo Big Brake Kits for BMW F87 M2 (2016-2021)

Every Brembo big brake kit we offer for the BMW M2 (F87) is on this page, front and rear, for the 2016-2018 M2 and the 2019-2021 M2 Competition. Front kits include GT 6-piston systems on 365x34mm, 380x34mm and 405x34mm two-piece discs, plus PISTA 4-piston and 6-piston race kits. Rear kits include GT 4-piston systems on 345x28mm and 380x28mm discs and two PISTA 4-piston kits. The M2 is short, quick and a favorite for track days, where the factory brakes can fade over a long session. A Brembo system replaces the caliper and disc on the axle you choose with a matched caliper, disc and pad package, sold as a complete axle set.

Each kit name starts with the cars it fits. Kits marked "M2 & M2 Competition" fit both, kits marked "M2 2016-2018" are listed by Brembo for the original M2 only, and the rear kits marked "M2 Competition 2019-2021" are for the Competition. The 380mm and 405mm front kits come in two caliper families: the N caliper in black, red, silver, yellow, GT-S or GT-R, and the T caliper in black, red, yellow or fluorescent yellow.

FAQ

Which front kits fit the M2 Competition?
The GT 6-piston 380x34mm and 405x34mm kits, in both the N and T caliper families. Brembo lists the 365mm front kit and the front PISTA kits for the 2016-2018 M2 only.

Which rear kits fit the M2 Competition?
The GT 4-piston 380x28mm kits in the P and S caliper families, marked "M2 Competition 2019-2021".

What is the difference between the N and T caliper kits?
Both are 6-piston GT calipers on the same disc size. Brembo lists them as two caliper families with different finish choices: the N caliper offers silver, GT-S and GT-R, and the T caliper offers fluorescent yellow.

What is the difference between the GT and PISTA kits?
GT kits are built for road use and track days and come in several caliper finishes. PISTA kits are Brembo's race systems, with disc springs and a centering ring as standard, for cars that run long, hot track sessions.

Will these kits fit my wheels?
Every big brake kit needs wheel clearance, and the 405mm kits need the most room on the M2. Send us your wheel size and offset and we will check them against Brembo's clearance data before you order.

Fitment Notes

Brembo lists the kits on this page for the BMW M2 (F87) and M2 Competition (F87). In the US, the M2 was sold for the 2016-2018 model years and the M2 Competition for 2019-2021. Brembo GT systems are designed for cars at original ride height. Raising the ride height is not compatible with the brake lines included in these systems. The GT-R 6-piston caliper needs different wheel clearance from the GT 6-piston caliper.
