Valvetronic Designs is a US-based exhaust manufacturer headquartered in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, focused entirely on dual-mode valved exhaust systems for European performance cars and select American chassis. The brand built its reputation on the F-chassis BMW V2 valved catback — a hand-built system with key-fob valve control that became one of the defining mods in the F22/F30/F32 community — and has expanded coverage to BMW G-chassis (G2x, G80, G87), Porsche 992 GT3, Audi R8 and S4/S5, Lamborghini Huracan and Gallardo, Ferrari 458, and Ford Mustang GT.

The engineering thesis is consistent across the catalog: every system is built around vacuum-actuated or factory-electronic valves with a deliberate dual-mode character. Closed, the system is OEM-quiet — Valvetronic claims 25+ dB volume reduction on some applications versus the open mode, civilized enough for daily commutes and quiet starts. Open, the system is full motorsport-loud — RSR-inspired tone on the Porsche GT3, F1-style high-pitched wail on the Ferrari 458 (with the signature anodized gold finish), aggressive turbo spool and overrun pops on the BMW M340i/M440i B58 platform. The valve hardware ties into factory PSE / PDE / sport-button controls on cars that have them, or runs standalone with the supplied key-fob remote on cars that don't.

Construction is T304 stainless steel as the standard option with Grade 5 titanium (Ti 6Al-4V) available as an upgrade on most flagship systems — the 992 GT3 valved system saves 31.9 lbs over the OE exhaust, the M340i/M440i system saves 21.7 lbs, the Audi S4/S5 system saves 12.3 lbs. All systems are TIG-welded, fully mandrel-bent, and designed for 100% reversible direct bolt-on installation. Note that many of the exotic platform systems — Ferrari 458, Audi R8 V10, Lamborghini Huracan and Gallardo headers — are part of Valvetronic's Special Operations Exhaust Development Program with 6–8 week build lead times plus an additional 2–4 weeks for the anodization process.
