AWE Touring Edition Exhaust (Resonated) for 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST

The resonated AWE Touring Edition Exhaust is the most refined way to give a 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST a real voice. It pairs AWE's patented 180 Technology® rear muffler with an extra in-line resonator in the front section, so the 2.0L EcoBoost sounds full and purposeful when you push it, then settles down on the highway with no drone in the cabin. If your ST is a daily driver that sees long commutes, this is the version to buy.

180 Technology® works by sending part of the exhaust pulse through tuned ports and reflection chambers. The reflected wave comes back exactly out of phase with the frequencies that cause drone and cancels them, while the main flow path stays straight through and unbaffled. That is why AWE can quote the same gains on every Focus ST system it makes: up to 7 hp and 12 lb-ft of torque at the crank.

Every pipe is 3-inch, .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel sourced in the U.S. and bent and welded in-house at AWE. Twin 4-inch double-walled tips carry the AWE logo, keep their mirror finish under hard use and adjust individually for depth in the bumper. Pick Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The system bolts to the factory hangers with no cutting and no tune.

Frequently Asked Questions

Resonated or Non-Resonated: which should I choose?
The resonated version adds a front resonator, so it is the quieter, smoother choice for long drives. The non-resonated version keeps the 180 Technology® muffler but lets more of the turbo four come through.

Will it drone on the highway?
No. Drone cancelling is the reason 180 Technology® exists, and this version adds a resonator on top of it.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a bolt-on cat-back and AWE guarantees no check engine light.

Can I make it louder later?
Yes. The AWE Touring-to-Track Conversion Kit swaps the 180 Technology® rear section for a straight Track section.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST 5-door hatchback with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine, before and after the 2015 facelift. It does not fit the Focus RS, the non-ST Focus, or the later Mk4 Focus ST, which was never sold in the US.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory mounting points; no tune required.
